UP-3007 Glass Jars Impact Tester For Various Glass Bottles

Glass bottle impact testing machine is a specialized quality inspection equipment used for professional and quantitative testing of the lateral impact resistance of glass containers (such as beverage bottles and medicine bottles). It simulates the instantaneous lateral impact that bottles may experience during production, filling, transportation, and use to evaluate their mechanical strength and safety.

Application:

Glass Bottle Impact Tester is designed for impact testing of various glass containers including beer bottles, wine bottles, beverage bottles, infusion bottles, and other glass bottle types.

Testing Principle:

Based on energy conversion principles, the impact energy of the pendulum on the glass bottle is determined by the pendulum’s potential energy. At a fixed angle, the pendulum’s potential energy and consequently its impact energy on the glass bottle remain constant.

Testing Methods:

Passing Test: The specimen is placed on the support table near the rear support. After adjusting the support table vertically and horizontally, the pendulum strikes the bottle with specified energy at three 120° points to check for damage.

Incremental Test: Following the passing test, the impact energy is gradually increased at three 120° points until bottle destruction occurs.
