IP5X/IP6X Dustproof Test: Within a sealed testing chamber, a circulating airflow suspends fine dust (like talcum powder) to verify the product enclosure’s ability to prevent dust ingress (IP5X) or achieve complete dust-tight protection (IP6X).
This equipment is used to comprehensively evaluate the sealing performance and reliability of outdoor electronic/electrical equipment, automotive components, and other products in harsh weather and dusty environments.

Standard description:

The test is made using a dust chamber incorporating the basic principles shown in figure 2 whereby the powder circulation pump may be replaced by other means suitable to maintain the talcum powder in suspension in a closed test chamber. The talcum powder used shall be able to pass through a square-meshed sieve the nominal wire diameter of which is 50μm and the nominal width of a gap between wires 75μm. The amount of talcum powder to be used is 2 kg per cubic meter of the test chamber volume. It shall not have been used for more than 20 tests.

The test device is suitable for sealing parts and enclosure's sand and dust resistance capacity testing of the electrical and electronic products, car and motorcycles spare parts and seals. In order to detect the use, storage, transport performance of the electrical and electronic products, car and motorcycles spare parts and seals under the sand and dust environment.

A 7-inch touch screen is used to control the dust blower, dust vibration and total test time separately

The inner chamber is connected with a high-quality fan with high power and strong dust blowing ability

Built-in heating device to keep the dust dry; a heater is installed in the circulating air duct to heat the dust to avoid dust condensation

A rubber seal is used at the door to prevent dust from floating out

What about the delivery term?For our standard machine which means normal machines, If we have stock in the warehouse, is 3-7 working days; If there is no stock, normally, the delivery time is 15-20 working days after payment received; If you are in urgent need, we will make a special arrangement for you.

3. Do you accept customization services? Can I have my logo on the machine?Yes, of course. We can not only offer standard machines but also customized machines according to your requirements. And we can also put your logo on the machine which means we offer OEM and ODM service.

4. How can I install and use the machine?Once you have ordered the testing machines from us, we will send you the operation manual or video in English version through Email. Most of our machine is shipped with a whole part, which means it is already installed, you just need to connect the power cable and start to use it.
