Vertical Horizontal Combustion Tester is a testing instrument used to determine the burning behavior of materials (such as plastics and rubber) under specified flame conditions. By positioning the sample vertically or horizontally and applying a standard flame, it evaluates the material’s flame retardancy based on parameters like burning rate and after-flame time.

Application: mainly used for non-metallic materials such as plastic and rubber.

Test method: Simulate flame invasion in different directions using two basic placement methods: vertical (UL 94 V) and horizontal (UL 94 HB)

Assessment content: Observe and measure key parameters such as combustion, combustion rate, residual flame/residual burning time, etc.

Purpose: To classify the flame retardant properties of materials (such as UL 94 HB, V-0, V-1, V-2), which is an important safety standard test for industries such as electronics and automotive.
